| A Cathartic Experience - Patricia Iris Kerins |
|
The call to the Magdalene I suppose is pretty much like the ‘call to the wild’ or a ‘call to the sea’. Some unseen force pulls you along, and if you are listening to your heart, you hear the call, feel the pull and give in, surrender, to this overwhelming yearning to go to the place that is calling so loudly. The sound of the Magdalene was permeating the airwaves, speaking of activations and transmissions, that when initiated would change the world again, shift the Earth on her axis just a little more. It would bring the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine together in harmony, a Sacred Marriage, that once experienced would be remembered at a ‘soulular’ and cellular level for ever more. No looking back as we plough along at high speed towards this new era of LOVE that is rapidly unfolding. To be in this energy is to totally immerse yourself in the Divine and become part of the Momentum of Light that is taking us forward to our ascension. This October the call to go to France became louder and louder, the most important date being of course the 11th of November 2011, all the elevens, all the master numbers adding of course to 33 the Christ Master Number. Plans were made, the heart call put out to invite others who could be there too. The Magdalene was insistent that there was indeed a much larger agenda than the prima facia case as given. We had a journey to conduct and one that would indeed be a Cathartic Experience but not necessarily for all the reasons that we would normally understand from that phrase. We journeyed to the (Aude, Pays Cathare,) Cathar country, specifically the place where on the 16th March 1244 the final eradication of the Cathar people took place, Montsegur Castle. 220 Cathars were burned at the stake that day. Pope Innocent 111, as the head of the Catholic Church, had waged a ‘holy war’ against the Cathars to eliminate the heretics. The Crusaders slaughtered some 20,000, their crime was that they followed a simple way of life with simple spirituality. They believed in Love, in Yeshua’s original teachings, that Love/God is within and working through them. They did not subscribe to the Catholic spin on the original ethos given by Yeshua Ben Joseph. Simplicity meant that materialism was regarded as evil. They used herbs and other healing modalities to heal the sick, all of that meant they were deemed to be evil. Witches and heretics in the eyes of the Catholic Church. They remembered Mary Magdalene and the Orders of the Magdalenes who had served with Yeshua, they cherished the memory and were not only prepared to die for it but die for it they did. The last of them had retreated to Montsegur Castle. However, the 10 month siege that took place all but starved them to death. They decided to surrender and go to their deaths at the stake as Yeshua had gone to his with peace and the love of God in their hearts. I sat in the warmth of the sun, leaning against the Martyrs stone which has been placed at the foot of the steep hill that leads up to the Castle. I have known for a long time that in a past life I had been a Cathar, the stiffness and pain I feel in my right hip and knee is somehow connected to this situation. I reflected upon what had happened in this place where I was sitting, on the 16th of March, the same day as I was born, but hundreds of years before. I was quietly contemplating, then it came as if from nowhere this rush of emotion, this release from deep within, a wave of pain, this Love, this peace, this forgiveness. I invoked the Archangel Michael and his band of Angels to come and take all negativity, pain and angst from this place and me. I requested that all remaining anguished souls were taken upwards and upwards towards the magnificent gates to the Light. Bless their hearts all of them who suffered in such a way for their beliefs. Ethnic cleansing and man’s inhumanity to man at its best and it still goes on and on to this day. Tears subside, calmness comes and the bees are still buzzing around, the farmer finds his dog and all is well with the world. I go back down to the car park to find our car and await my husband’s return from his climb right up to the castle itself. If you were to look Cathartic Experience up in the dictionary you will see that it says it is a cleansing or purging of deep emotions. It comes from a Greek word meaning to cleanse and clear, getting it out of one’s system. If you look up Cathars it tells you that they are pure and simple people but the two are not related in any way. It has a Greek root. A more diligent student than I will have the answer to that. I had undoubtedly had my Cathartic Experience regardless of the root of the word! “if a man can learn to hate, he can be taught to LOVE” – Nelson Mandela We are being asked at this time to make a simple choice, to love or not to love, that is the question. Choose LOVE, it is a decision well made. Next time, I will share with you the experience at Lourdes on that amazingly powerful day. 11:11:11 |
