|
Aries: There’s Good times a-coming, particularly late October through to late November. Cultural activities are highlighted. You may hear from someone from the past, or an opportunity arises to reach out to someone once important in your life. An interest in psychology and other people’s secrets comes to the fore and you’ll be enjoying spy stories, mysteries and supernatural thrillers. Book recommendation: anything by Diana Gabaldon. Tarot Guidance: If there’s been any problem in matters of health, good news is on the way. Generally speaking there is an aura of protection about your affairs. Taurus: You’ll be particularly mentally sharp in the coming weeks, set on getting your house in good working order, for the most part. That other part will also be revealing itself (to your surprise as well as others) but you’ll have a real need to follow your own rhythm. November brings a need to share and to receive love. It’s a good time to forgive past resentments. You’re becoming more interested in similarities rather than differences. Book Recommendation: anything by Winifred Holtby Tarot Guidance: “Are you ready for the ride?” is the question about to be asked. It’s in your hands. Say “Yes” and you’ll soon be heading in a direction with exciting prospects. Gemini: Doubts about your career and overall situation might surface. Be honest with yourself and only accept what you really need (not necessarily want) in your life. It’s a very good time to renegotiate unsatisfactory arrangements. If you are involved in intellectual pursuits (writing, teaching, being a student) the Ideas will flow. Late November brings a maturity of ideals and in your spiritual values. You’ll find yourself being more sensitive to the needs of others. Book Recommendation: “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.” Tarot Guidance: You may be considering moving house, in which case there will be the signing of papers to finalise the deal. On the other hand, you could be in for a new work opportunity which would enhance your finances. Cancer: Some of the kinds of emotional upheaval that really unsettle you are likely to arise in close relationships. Look on them as learning curves. Some of them may relate to reactions out of hidden, or forgotten, childhood issues. Late October through to mid-November brings out an urge for more freedom on many levels. You may find yourself over- reacting to any dissonance in your environment. Changes, providing you with new ideas and a break from accustomed beliefs are on the way. Welcome them. Book Recommendation: “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. Tarot Guidance: Time to deal with any outstanding matters whether emerging from past lives, childhood or family arguments. Stand in your own strength and all will be well. Leo: This is the time for seeing The Bigger Picture. Your native element, self-control and patience will be needed, but you will be well-rewarded. Think “Long Term.” Now is a really good time to entertain in your own home. Your natural warmth & hospitality will be a haven for your many friends. You are clear, articulate and communicative at this time. And how about going shopping for new clothes? It’s not as though you lack charisma, but a time for enhancement. Book recommendation: “”Gone With The Wind” by Margaret Mitchell. Tarot Guidance: Celebrating with family and showing how much you appreciate each other is on the cards. If you were close to someone, of whom you were very fond, who has left the World it’s highly likely they are keeping an eye on you, still. Virgo: Although this may not be your usual modus operandi, now’s the time to getting a little “loose” and “wild” with your friends. You’re likely to meet some very interesting new people and, maybe, an opportunity for a brief fling (which, depending on your commitments, will give you a new lease of life.) This is one of those times for you to stand out from the crowd, receiving recognition, and also to appreciate your own unique qualities. As November ends, memories of what you once desired in your life will surface. Time to edit the Story and bring it up to date. Book Recommendation: “The Penelopiad” by Margaret Atwood. Tarot Guidance: Five is the number of “Change” and this card is all about letting go of a long-standing melancholy. Much better times are coming. Libra: You’ll be using your charm, humour and a light touch to get your points across, while your artistic and aesthetic senses are heightened in the coming weeks. It’s a good time to “dance” your way into winter entertainments. If you “brainstorm” problematic situations you’re very likely going to come across some brilliant solutions. Your health and general vitality should be top-notch. Seek as many physical outlets as you can muster (as long as they’re legal!) Films and DVD’s Recommendation: all of the classic MGM Musicals. Tarot Guidance: You’ll soon be feeling well pleased with your efforts and your Self. Don’t take this for granted- you have no need to keep on trying- for you‘ve, still, much potential to fulfil. Scorpio: Releasing your restrictive circumstances is the key issue for this time period. Enjoy the freedom from recent pressures. You deserve it. Doors are going to be opening to new opportunities and any initiatives you take at this time will be very fruitful. As November ends, and Christmas approaches, you’ll be in the mood for relaxation. Family & friends are the source of much pleasure. Avoid any dry and tedious situations. You don’t need them! Book Recommendation: anything by Philippa Gregory. Tarot Guidance: There’s a New Idea about to emerge, carrying much success. If you’ve been thinking about doing “Something,” now is the time to put it into action. Sagittarius: Although you may be wrestling with superficialities and flaws in the human condition, just now, hang in there! By the time mid-November comes you’ll be well clear of any negativities. It’s a good time to air any concerns about personal relationships, and to get away fro a romantic weekend, if you are in a meaningful relationship. If not, go anyway! This also affects work and professional concerns in that Honesty is the Best Policy. Your views will be respected. It’s important to eliminate any waste and inefficiencies. Book recommendation: They may not be too popular right now but, sometimes, a good old-fashioned “Western” fit’s the bill. Tarot Guidance: If you have the “feeling” that “someone” or “something” is working against your best interests, you may well be right! Eventually, no good will come of it to the person concerned, so stand strong in your own truth. Capricorn: Never give up! Not the usual advice for your star sign, a few of you have been going though tough times, of late. You don’t much care for the compromises you’ve had to make but, please believe this, the Universe is about to shower you with abundance. An important agreement is about to be reached, solving an outstanding Irk. You’re being freed up for some very important changes. 2012 is going to be when they really kick in, but don’t give up on December. Don’t give up on Romance, either. Past prospects might have seemed bleak but what’s coming next will more than make up for your lack. Book Recommendation: once more I’m going to suggest Charles Dickens and, particularly, “David Copperfield.” Tarot Guidance: You’ve got all the qualities to be a Winner, so don’t give up now. That tough time you’re coming out of was a test; and you’ve passed it, with flying colours! Aquarius: You may have been feeling somewhat out-of-step with your immediate neighbours? Well! When did that ever stop you dancing to your own music? You fight for what you believe in, although it might be a good idea not to stir up too much unnecessary controversy just now. The coming pace will be hectic and it’s a good time to consult advisors on your investments and long-range plans. In putting your affairs in order, you’re freeing yourself up for the adventures to come. December is a particularly good time for travelling. Book Recommendation: “Maps in a Mirror”- a definitive collection of short fiction by Orson Scott Card. Tarot Guidance: Don’t allow any imaginary worries defeat your purpose. You may have stretched your limits in some matters but always remember; “God loves a Trier.” Take some tiem out to de-stress. Pisces: Your imagination & intuition is heightened in the coming weeks, which benefits all creative and artistic work. As your judgement on concrete matter may be a tad fuzzy, avoid making important decisions for a few weeks. You are being increasingly attracted to the mysterious undertones in your life and it’s highly likely that a long-standing puzzle is going to be sorted out, albeit in a somewhat obsessive manner! It’s a very good time to go visiting old friends, and to enjoy significant conversations. Be alert for someone coming into your life who‘s likely to remain for as long as you desire. Book Recommendation: “Wuthering Heights“ by Emily Bronte. Tarot Guidance: You have been asking for guidance on a matter that is close to you heart. The universe has been listening and, very soon, synchronicities will show you the way. “Heavenly Light, Celestial Bodies & Us”- a collection of essays and poems by Audrey Yeardley is available at £9.99 including postage.
