Everyday Magic 4 - Happy Chanting |
In the springtime of a new year thoughts inevitably turn to the year ahead. Sometimes we look at ourselves with a critical eye and vow to do better and try harder, especially in our relationships with our family and friends. This self-critique may become a little heightened as the 14th of Feb. approaches, yes the big V day. You may be thinking “Oh here we go, another ramble about how we need to heal ourselves, heal our lives, attract love...” You may also have heard before that when you are having problems, oh sorry “issues” with someone, or relationships in general, that it is “a reflection of yourself and something about YOU that you need to look at”. Perhaps it has been suggested that the person affecting you is really to be embraced as they help you onwards on your journey? Well, quite frankly, sod that.

Everyday Magic 01 - Simple Magic |
I remember a time when life was simple. I remember a time when I was free to express myself however I chose, free to walk in the woods at midnight under the light of a full moon, free to wander down to the sea to release my stress and worries to be washed away by the tide. I remember hours of meditation, chanting, channelling. I remember rituals invoking the Goddess, the angels, sabbats celebrating the turning of the year. I remember it all...is this some kind of weird past life flashback? No! This is simply life before Motherhood.
