Over the past five years we have had the same debate as most small independent shops: should we open on a Sunday? So far we have managed to resist, as it gives us the certainty of one day off a week. Everyone needs time to rest and it would be hard to advise customers to ensure they make time to rest and recover if we did not do it ourselves. We enjoy our Sundays!

Echinacea - Return of the Unpronounceables |

I was suffering from a bad dose of writer’s block, when the headlines on the television, radio and newspapers hit me: “Echinacea is good for the immune system”. I am sorry but I thought news was meant to be ‘new’! Echinacea has been used for many years in Europe to help with immune conditions, and has many hundreds of years of traditional use in its native North America.
