Snitch is back

So it has been a while since the SnitchHiker has come out to play. I've been locked in a cupboard under the stairs beside the hoover so forgive me for this short post, I am still finding my bearings in this new alternative world...

Delighted to hear the news that David Hamilton is coming up to Tir na nOg in October, well I was until I remembered going along to one of his early talks many moons ago on the power of positive thought. He was giving examples of how you could manifest things through your own positive state of mind. Now David spends a lot of his time in coffee shops writing his books and on this particular occasion he managed to positively manifest free cake from the barista. Now for those of you who have frequented a Costa coffee establishment you will know that this is no mean feet... My point is this, is there enough cake at Tir na nOg to go round when David comes to town...? If you happen in to the cafe and see one of the waitresses wandering around in (more of) a daze and then glance over to see David happily smiling over a tottering tray of tiffin well then you know what will have happened. David Hamilton and his cake mongering mind bullets have struck again. Barricade the brownies!

Many things have changed since our last outing from the cupboard under the stairs not least the popularity of FaceBook and Twitter. We are fairly tickled with the concept of the 'Frape' where someone hacks in to your Facebook account and leaves a cheeky message supposedly from you with the purpose of embarrassing you and confusing your friends. Now some of these can be rather mundane but our favourite in the last few days was a 'Frape' of the lovely Calista MacGillivray (who is a frequent frape victim so we would suggest a new password). The ‘Frape’ in question occurred as she was due to lead a development class and the post read 'Calista MacGillivray has selenite up her bum to access the Ass-chashic records'. I did giggle in a slightly juvenile fashion. I had wondered at one point if our editor, lovely Nikki, had been ‘Fraped’ when she posted '"I attach a copy of the 1st poof". Yep, that was a clever thing to write in an email, well done Nicola.' Alas this was indeed the case, numpty... if you don't hear from me for a while you'll know I have been imprisoned under the stairs again, like a handsome Harry Potter.

Later Snitch Fans.
