Himalayan Singing Bowls by Peter Halley |

I must admit that I was more than a little sceptical about listening to 40 minutes of singing bowls in one sitting. However, after just a few minutes the tones and chimes of the singing bowls had certainly transported me, if not to all the way to the mountain kingdom, but certainly to its foothills. After listening to the CD in its entirety, I certainly felt as though I had been relaxed with my thoughts clearing and my breathing deepening and slowing as the CD played. Not one to listen to in the car, but perfect when you have 40 very, very quiet minutes to yourself. For more information, visit: www.fourwindsmeditation.co.uk |

The Calm by Graham Lock (Part 1 ofthe Spectrum Series) |

Designed with therapists in mind, and billed as “An invitation to calm, to be relaxed and at peace with your world, to take the time to enjoy your own company or to share special moment in the company of others”. So, after a tortuous commute home, I loaded Gary’s CD and waited for calm to wash over me. And it did. Far quicker than I had expected. So much so that well before the end of the first part of the four part CD, I held no grudge towards my fellow commuter. With simple melodies and pleasing harmonies, Gary demonstrates his prowess for arrangement and his musical ability. For more information, visit Gary’s site: www.somemusic.com |

Opening The Door - A hypnotic visualisation by Brian Costello |

An interesting journey in to your unconscious mind guided by the rich tones of Brian Costello’s voice. Quite trippy in places as he takes you to your dream room, crystal room and then a fascinating journey through the timeline of your life to the point of your beginning creating an opportunity to embrace and manifest change in your life. One to listen to with a focus and purpose. Design Your Future by Brian Costello: Warning - this CD makes you think! Brian helps you to focus on the change you want to bring in to your life, to visualise and really bring that in to being. His voice weaves a magic that connects your dreams in to reality and makes anything seem possible. I like it! His combination of relaxing music, storytelling and his NLP techniques is very persuasive. |

Two CDs from Crystal Green. The first Universal Breath incorporates gentle breathwork within a guided meditation which the reviewer found very benefical and actually helped achieve a more peaceful nights sleep, perfect for the novice meditator.
